How Weird Festival /July 23, 2019 by Natasha Mariana

In collaboration with the Robby Poblete Foundation, Labor and Love was commissioned by the World Peace Through Technology Foundation to build a sculpture of their mascot, a Peace Dove. “Pax Paloma” is a hand built mixed media sculpture built primarily from dismantled firearms from local gun buyback programs to get guns off the street and will be unveiled at the organization’s annual How Weird Street Faire on May 5, 2019.
